Only 1/2 way through and I can't put it down. The twists on the original characters and the addition of some others you will recognize keeps the story running at full speed. I can't wait for #2 !
This book is a good, quick read that will take you on a fun adventure and have you seeing the tale of Peter Pan in a whole new light. There is an interesting weaving of characters and an unexpected storyline viewpoint. Characters are well written and enjoyable to get to know. So glad the story continues as I want to see where the journey takes them and who else they will meet along the way! Love the way you bring in other fairytale characters, interweaving them into this perspective so believably.
This Captain Hook origin story is more than a little complicated for my taste and the title doesn't make much sense. Still a good read though.
Purchased for a high school library - I'm sure the kids will enjoy!
